Q: Do you charge additional fees for travel, crawlspace inspections, older home inspections, attic inspections, report writing, etc...
A: We never charge any additional fees. Our price quote is all-inclusive.
Q: How do I schedule an inspection?
A: Call us at 864-414-7021 and we'll schedule an appointment.
Q: How long does it take to get the report? How do I get the report?
A: We typically send the reports to you by email within 24 hours of completing the inspection and after receiving payment.
Q: How long is your report and what does it contain?
A: Our reports are written in a narrative format because we think it's easier to read and understand than a checklist type of report. Our reports are typically 20-25 pages in length, but that can vary depending on what we find. We include quite a few pictures in our reports. Our reports contain detailed descriptions of the systems and components of the home including the roof, exterior, interior, structure, attic, crawlspace, plumbing, electrical and heating and cooling systems.
Q: How and when do I pay you? What forms of payment do you take?
A: We expect payment before we send you the report. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, venmo, paypal and zelle. We will send you an invoice after completing the inspection and it contains all the information you need to be able to pay us.
Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes, we are licensed by the South Carolina Residential Builders Commission. Our license number is 49773. All home inspectors in South Carolina are required to be licensed. Home inspectors in South Carolina have to pass a series of rigorous training requirements and pass 2 state examinations in order to obtain a license.
Q: Do I need to be present at the inspection?
A: No, you don't have to be present. However, if you would like to be there during the inspection, we are happy to accommodate you and answer any questions you might have.
Q: Do you do pest inspections or issue a CL-100 report?
A: No, we don't do pest inspections or issue CL-100 reports.
