Air Conditioning Inspection

Per the State Standards of Practice for an air conditioning inspection, we open readily accessible and openable access panels and visually inspect any permanently installed cooling equipment and distribution systems.

In our report, we describe the cooling system in the home and the energy source used to cool the home.

The State Standards of Practice indicate that we are not required to inspect cooling systems that utilize geothermal, solar, water-source or other renewable energy technologies.  We also are not required to inspect window air conditioning units or other cooling equipment that is not permanently installed.  Furthermore, we aren’t required to inspect electric air filtration and sanitization devices, or determine the adequacy and distribution balance of the cooling supply.
